Celebrating my 25th birthday on Long Island with Kerri and her family was a blast! On arrival, I realized I hadn’t left the city in four months and was stoked to be in a new place, enjoying all the open space, fresh air, and the change in weather. We watched the strong winds blowing the sand around like additional waves on Smith Point Beach, had ice cream for lunch at Ice Cream Cottage, saw the Long Island Sound at Port Jefferson, and I saw the moon for the first time in months.
